Course Description

The aim of the course is to enhance knowledge of deck and engine officers in understanding the current decarbonization targets set by IMO MEPC and achieve these targets by closely monitoring and improving vessel performance.

Course Content

Successful completion of this course participants will enable to understand the importance of the role of Ship staff in De-carbonization and CII compliance by:

  • understanding Vessel Performance related KPIs and required performance rating
  • understanding various voyage logs
  • understanding the importance of accurately collecting and reporting quality data
  • understanding the importance of ME & AE Performance reporting and correction of common mistakes observed from vessels
  • understanding system Bugs, outliers and procedure of raising ZOHO tickets on time
  • understanding the role of Fleet Performance Centre (FPC) in Vessel Performance
