Target Audience

All Officers and personnel on board LNG carriers, and specifically aimed for those who will be responsible for the safe planning and execution of operations related to the LNG cargo and Ballast operation

Course Content
  • Simulator-based exercises related to :dry dock to dry dock voyage cycle (Gas freeing of LNG Carrier ), standard Cargo operations including BOG management and dealing with emergencies.
  • Practical application and management of full range of Cargo and Ballast operations
  • Construction and operation of cargo containing systems and cargo handling equipment
  • Utilization of safety and protective systems and equipment
  • Application of international and industry regulations and guidelines
  • Identifying and dealing with emergencies
Entry Standards

STCW Basic Gas Tanker Certification. The Participants are recommended to hold a STCW Advanced Gas Tanker certification.

Facilities

Classroom, Videos, Gas Simulator – G-Sim DNV approved Class A Liquid Cargo Handling Simulator (ME-GI, DFDE and Steam Turbine models)

Classroom lecture, videos, various examples, simulated cargo exercises
