Basic Oil / Chemical Tanker Cargo Operations (STWC)
This course is aimed at Officers and Ratings assigned specific duties and responsibilities related to cargo or cargo equipment on oil or chemical tankers and is a mandatory requirement under STCW Table A-V/1-1-1.
On successful completion of this course, delegates will be able to:
Junior Officers and Ratings as above.
Classroom, videos, LICOS Simulator, fire fighting area, tanker fire fighting equipment.
Classroom lectures, videos, simulated cargo exercises, practical fire fighting.
STCW Table A-V/1-1-1, The ISM Code, IMO Model Course 1.01
5 days.
Written test, practical evaluation and assessments.
Attendance certificate leading to STCW certification.
