BSM Orientation

Course Description

This course aims to provide initial familiarization to all newcomers joining BSM for the first time. The course provides information about BSM history, structure, key policies, mission and vision, a basic understanding of Company SMS organization and workflows, safety culture, procedures, apps, and onboard training. It provides a chronology from day One to sign off.

Course Content

After successful completion of this course, participants will have the following competence knowledge: 

  • BSM’s background and current organization details
  • Comply with BSM procedures and performance standards
  • Promote a strong safety and ‘Just Culture' ensuring implementation of company core values and strategies
  • Understanding Company Environmental aspects
  • QDMS Wiki contain important policies
  • Smoothing joining process
  • Facilitates performance onboard

Ongoing assessments and final examination.

Certification

Maritime Training Center will issue Certificate on course completion.
