Course Description

The course aims to provide attendees with an insight into the company structure and appreciate the rich heritage of the same. The candidates will understand the skeleton of the Safety Management System and will be able to apply it in their day-to-day activities besides being more aware of the relationship between safety culture and incidents. The superior deliveries and multiple styles will help candidates to improve their behaviours and outlook towards their daily work onboard.

Course Content

Successful completion of this course will enable participants to:

  • Understand and appreciate the company’s background and its heritage.
  • Demonstrate the understanding of the company’s mission/ vision and its policies
  • Demonstrate professional behavior while onboard to maintain the company’s standard
  • Work within procedures laid down by the company’s manuals
  • Control unsafe acts/ conditions and enhance safety culture onboard.
  • Demonstrate the correct procedures to perform fire drills

Instructor delivered remote training.

Initial assessment and Summative assessments (End of course).
