Course Description

The Cadet Seminar is designed to provide an overview of how our cadet programme is structured, the latest details on how cadets are managed and any updates on the onboard training. It provides information on career development and allows an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences with colleagues.

This seminar is a fantastic opportunity to communicate with your team and your colleagues through the topic sessions, Q&A and general feedback.

Course Content

The course covers the following topics:

  • Understand and follow BSM procedures and methods relating to cadet training
  • Raise awareness of safety and responsibilities
  • Understand BSM IT-based systems e.g., PAL
  • Understand Human Element, leadership, communications and soft skills.
  • Understand the role of welfare, wellbeing and support systems
  • Question and answer session
