Course Description

This webinar is to give you important safety awareness information, including current BSM methods and approaches to improve safety. The topics include how to deal with and manage risks and how to create a strong safety culture on board our ships. We also deal with the concept of “Duty of Care” and discuss some cases where we hope you can learn from them.

The training will be delivered in your local language.

Course Content

The course covers the following topics:

  • Provide opportunities to listen, share and discuss the points and concerns with colleagues about safety
  • Understand Risk Perception and its effect on safety behaviour
  • Create a team culture of risk
  • Raise awareness of safety issues and the key points that will allow understanding of risk in the workplace
  • Understand and apply a Duty of Care approach
  • Discuss and learn lessons from safety incident case studies
  • Question and answer session
