STCW Basic Safety Training is the standard emergency, safety and survival training which is compulsory for anyone working at sea.

Classroom, fire ground with enclosed spaces
Lectures, videos, practical exercises.
STCW Chapter VI, Section A-VI/1. SOLAS, The ISM Code, The LSA Code, The FSS Code, COSWP. IMO Model Courses 1.13, 1.19, 1.20 and 1.21
8 days.
Written exams and practical assessments.
Course certificate upon successful completion leading to STCW certification.
