Service update: BSM LiveFleet added latest emission management and performance monitoring capabilities

LiveFleet is BSM's performance monitoring platform for clients giving full visibility of a fleet’s operations. The tool has been updated to include latest measurement capabilities to fully support compliance with all current regional and international regulations including CII, EU ETS and FuelEU Maritime.

It provides ship owners with a single source for all their data, accessible 24/7 via mobile and desktop.

Reflecting latest developments in legislation regarding the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the shipping industry, LiveFleet has been updated with new features in both the LiveFleet desktop platform and the LiveFleet mobile app.

Here is an overview of the new additions:

LiveFleet Mobile App 

The new section “Voyage & Performance” in the LiveFleet mobile app offers three new overviews:

1. Voyage Overview
2. Performance Overview
3. C/P Monitoring

This section provides valuable insights into vessel performance, including speed and fuel consumption, main engine efficiency, emissions, and environmental footprint. It also compares these metrics against key indices such as the IMO’s Energy Efficiency Operational Indicator (EEOI) and Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII), as well as the vessel’s performance as per the charter party conditions.

LiveFleet Desktop Platform 

The following new features have been added to the LiveFleet desktop platform:

• Crew Pool Report: A new report under the Crewing section provides an overview of a ship owner’s crew pool status.

• Two Emission Management Dashboards: The EU-ETS Dashboard (beta version) under Finacial Reporting, features client-specific insights into EU-ETS declarations and outstanding balances

The Fuel EU Maritime Dashboard under Voyage and Performance, offers fleet-wide and vessel-specific analysis of Fuel EU penalties, based on reported daily logs under the EU scope.

• Enhanced Landing Dashboard: The new tile, “Vessels Exceeding Required CII Rating”, enables easy tracking of underperforming vessels.

CII Calculator and CII Predictor tools provide enhanced predictive and analytical capabilities.
